Dr. Arash M. Padidar is a Stanford trained board certified Interventional Radiologist specializing in embolization procedures to treat obesity.
He is the founder of the Obesity Institute in San Jose California. Dr. Padidar is a member of two obesity societies, The Obesity Medicine Association and The Obesity Society. Dr. Padidar has been in practice for over twenty-five years. Additional subspecialties are Endovascular surgery and the treatment of stroke and brain aneurysms.
Dr. Arash M. Padidar completed his undergraduate degree at Boston University and graduated medical school from Chicago Medical School. He completed an Internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco and diagnostic radiology residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California. Dr. Padidar completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Stanford Medical Center followed by a fellowship in NeuroInterventional Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. In addition, Dr. Padidar graduated as a Master in Science from the University of Paris in Neurovascular diseases.
